fun stuff...

well, i've been sick for the past few days, so that was a total riot. i think i got food poisoning, so yeah... fun stuff. tis better to waste food and be healthy than do die young and be thrifty. lol.

this morning, however, i was starving and *thought* i was feeling better... so i made a breakfast consisting totally of fried items. a good old english fry up, of mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, and bacon. yum.

okay well, no. let's put it this way. my stomach rebelled.

"viva le' resistance'," it cried.

so yeah, here's a lesson in life. don't eat fried food after a bout with flu/food poisoning/whatever.

so monday night, i realize i'm sick. it wasn't a very subtle, "i think i'm sick," feeling, either. it was an "oh, NO, i'm going to be sick!" feeling and of course i just had to be outside with the baby, petting the horse.

nick is inside, so i decide to run into the house... carrying the baby (which slows me down considerably).

i finally get into the house, and guess who is in the loo already? noooooooooooooooooooooo!

"what are you doing in there?!" i yell, frantically.

"what do you think i'm doing in here?" was his reply.

so i go to run upstairs, and cody, his massive behometh of a dog, is parked in front of the gate by the stairs.

"move!" i say impatiently, but she just looks at me me lazily. i nudge her with my foot. she doesn't want to move.

"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!" i yell, frantic now, and nudge her harder.

she moves.

i race upstairs. i'm still carrying the baby.

however, i make it to the loo... and therefore proceed to empty the contents of my guts for at least the last five days worth of food. okay, that's what it felt like.

and... tho i didn't think it was possible, this continued for the next 24 hours or so, in which i slept, puked.... you get the picture.

i'm going to be more careful about food i eat from now on...
