meet oliver

we have a new family member! he is a 4 week old kitten named oliver, and he is an adorable little black ball of fluff. we found him hiding in the tree; he had been stuck there for three days, crying his little head off, and there was no sign of his mother. so i climbed up the tree, and discovered that i am definately NOT as young as i used to be, and somehow managed to get him down without falling and breaking my neck.

he was quite scared at first. He hid in a hollow spot in the tree, and hissed and stuck out his tiny claws; but when i finally caught him, he decided to stop fighting. when i fed him, i was suddenly his best friend. he is tiny... i've seen potatoes that are bigger! but he's sweet.... and aside from being ravenously hungry at first, he's doing quite well. i'll have to post pictures. :)
