my kid is a vegetarian

i swear, clay is going to be a vegetarian if he keeps up with his current eating habits. he is getting to the point where he refuses almost all meat, but he loves his veg. the other day, we tried hummus, and he totally devoured it.

and he likes tofu. he loves guacamole. he even likes raw potatoes. he steals them out of the potato bin and takes little bites out of them. so i cut up some raw potato and let him chew on it and he actually liked it.

so, right. i'm going to have to learn to cook vegetarian, because he needs to get his protein somewhere! or maybe this is my cue to go veggie.

although i don't think nick would go for it. he likes his steak and ale pies too much. and his bacon. so he probably wouldn't cooperate with the idea of becoming a veggie.

he (nick) already thinks i'm a crazy hippy. who, me? surely not. :O
